I am a bridge player in Carteret County. It was always a special treat to see Ed at our bridge games. He was always kind, patient and gave helpful advice. We will miss him.

Ed was such a wonderful guy. I really enjoyed playing bridge with him at Henry Meguid's game in Durham. Ed was always a lot of fun, very engaging, and very smart. He had a wonderful life, and he will be missed.

When I first started playing bridge about ten years ago, Ed was extremely generous sharing his bridge knowledge with me, even though I was an absolute novice. He was kind when he corrected my many stupid mistakes and encouraging that I would make progress. Although I didn't know Ed beyond bridge, it was clear that he was a kind, generous, and brilliant person. My condolences to his family on the loss of such a man.

Ed and Barb, I can never express how much it has always meant to me that you accepted me and Justin into the Fuller family 35 years ago as if we´d always belonged. I love you both dearly! I will miss Ed´s dry sense of humor and his humble ways. You are the best kind of family to have in this world. I wish everyone could be so lucky

Eddie, growing up as your cousin was so special because our parents made sure that the cousins knew each other. I love all my cousins and I'll truly miss you. I'm so thankful for our visit a few weeks ago with Sharon and Kathlyn. I know God was waiting with his arms wide open when your beautiful soul left this earth. Fly high sweet cousin.

I have wonderful memories of the summer in 1969 when Eddie and Barbara let me visit them in their home while I was stationed at Chanute Air Force Base Illinois. I was a long way from home and needed family. Jimmy
