Not sure what to say?

Ed, Heidi & John,

I am so saddened to have recieved the tragic news of the death of your son Nelson. Although I never met your son, I can tell you based on Ed's loving stories of Nelson and how proudly he spoke of him (as well as John) that he must have been one great kid. I can't imagine the loss you all must feel. It is truly unbelievable that a bright shining light like Nelson is no longer elumninating at least here physically but what a gift to have had him for those precious 18...

I did not know your son very well , but i took SAT PREP class with him at sylvan and he made it very intresting. I am deeply sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prays go out to you.

The entire Department of Parks & Recreation was saddened to hear about the loss of your son, Nelson. We join countless others in offering our kindest thoughts and prayers that your family may find some small solace during these trying times.

Mr. and Mrs. James,
While I didn't know Nelson very well, the amount of support I have seen and heard from the Lynchburg and Glass community truly shows how many lives your son touched. He was in my driver's ed class and we could always rely on Nelson to make such a boring class the most eventful of the day. He truly was an amazing person and everyone could see that no matter how well you knew him.

John,
Know that you have an entire support system every time you walk into Glass....

Ed:

I was informed earlier today of the tragic loss of your son. My heart breaks for you and your family. Seven years ago my wife and I lost an infant son - it was our focus on his older sister and the outpouring of support from family and friends that pulled us through. You're in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult of times.

Dear James family,

I do so wish I had known your son. Bucky, Bullet, BB, and the rest of the James gang were such a big part of my life in high school and afterwards, even to this day.

This much I do know. From everything written and said about Nelson, he had that zest for life and laughter that runs throughout the James family. It is such a tragedy to lose a child as our family knows first hand. And even though the pain never goes away, please know that you will remember...

Blitz and Heidi,

I cannot fathom the loss that you are feeling at this time. Nelson seemed like a fine young man. I wish I had had the opportunity to meet him. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Love,

Elizabeth Wadman (Stuart McClintic's sister)

Heidi, Blitz and John,
My family and I wanted to express our deepest sympathies for the loss of Nelson. I only met him a few times some years ago, but he was a fun and nice person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

John, I'm so very sorry. I just want you to know I'm thinking of you!
