Not sure what to say?

Bruce, Charlie, Mark, Marsha and Mrs. Lassman, I just heard today from my sister about Ed. He always insisted we called him Ed. I'll forever remember him watching the news, grinnin' and jokin' away with the cigar in the corner of his mouth. Had some good times with you guys growing up and your dad(or husband) had a positive affect on me. His devotion, drive sense of humor and his ability to process all the information available were impressive, to say the least, but he helped also to...

Our deepest sympathy to the family.

Dear Mrs. Lassman and family,
Ed was a good man (as you all know), and I miss him at work. May God help you through this hard time. With wishes for strength, Carol Jensen (sec'y at RNCLH)

Dear Janet and Family,

Carla and I are very sorry to learn of Ed's passing. He was a "true" gentleman who touched many in his very distinguished life. He will be dearly missed. My parents and I send our thoughts and prayers to you.

Warmest personal regards,

John and Carla Woodcock

Janet:

Barbara and I extend our sincere condolances to the Lassman Family. Ed was truly a Gentleman and a Gentle Man. We will miss his wise counsel and good humor.

To the Lassman Family - I am very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I met Ed as a high school student while growing up in South Windsor and he made an unforgettable impression upon me at the time. Many years later as an employee of White Oak Corporation, I got the chance to work with Ed on several legal matters and we became good friends despite our age difference. He taught me a great deal about the legal system and I will miss his advice and his wonderful sense of humor.
