With a heavy heart I just learned of the passing of your dear father, Edwin, Whitney! Please know how very sorry I am to have read this! My precious friend Betsy will now have her protector with her once again as they both watch over you and yours from the heavens above. God bless them and the and the entire family! Ed was a good friend for over fifty years, from his time as a portfolio manager at Connecticut General, through his working with Putnam, Warburg Pincus and Neville, Rodie, Shaw, to dinners with the Drones - that exclusive, unorganized group of irreverent fans of P.
