Not sure what to say?

I also had the pleasure of serving w/1SG Lundquist in Viet Nam. He was a good, tough but fair man. I'm sorry he's gone.
He was a great leader of men.

To the family of 1SG Lundquist: I was saddened to hear of his death from LT Joe Alonso who had heard from CPT Jim Apodaca. 1SG Lundquist was our 1SG for the first half of my tour with B/2/502 in 1969. I posted a photo of him cutting our scout's hair in the rear. You can view this on the 2/502 web site, www.2nd502.org. He was a great soldier and 1SG.

I never had the opprotunity to meet Ed in person, we had sent e-mail to each other for quite awhile. Our deepest sympathy go out to the family, for teir lost. I know the Lord has taken him by the hand.

We are so sorry for your loss. Due to a prior engagement we were unable to attend the memorial service today. But we will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
