I also had the pleasure of serving w/1SG Lundquist in Viet Nam. He was a good, tough but fair man. I'm sorry he's gone.
He was a great leader of men.

To the family of 1SG Lundquist: I was saddened to hear of his death from LT Joe Alonso who had heard from CPT Jim Apodaca. 1SG Lundquist was our 1SG for the first half of my tour with B/2/502 in 1969. I posted a photo of him cutting our scout's hair in the rear. You can view this on the 2/502 web site, www.2nd502.org. He was a great soldier and 1SG.

Dear Mrs. Lundquist and Family,
You don't know me, but I briefly got to meet and know your husband in 1985 when he made 50th wedding anniversary pictures for my parents. I am so sorry to learn of his death. He was so very nice to me and my parents. My parents are gone now, but I will always treasure the pictures Ed made of them. Down through the years I have offen thought of Ed. I know you will miss him so very much. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve over your loss. May the great love of God keep and sustain you in the difficult days ahead.
My love and sympathy,

Jimmy Greenhill
