Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to Ted's family and especially to Mike, Pat, and Ed.

I knew Ted since I was born and we were all chums from the beginning. Joe and Ted, Steve and Mike, me (David) and Pat. We shared an amazing childhood. The club pool, life on the river, neighborhood games and parties. We lived at each other's houses. I knew their phone number before my own. The countless memories that we all share forged our futures and our lives to be.
Even though it has been decades...

I went to law school with Ted and became very close friends with him. He always had such a fun, happy, positive disposition about him that it made it great to be around him at all times. I never saw him in a bad mood and considered it an honor to be in his close circle of friends in school. Even though his catch-phrase through difficult times in school was "strive for mediocrisy" he always excelled in everything he did. We loved talking about college football and enjoyed many fun times...

I had the pleasure of knowing and meeting Mr. Mortell while working as a paralegal for an opposing firm. He took adversarial out of adversary. He was a force to be reckoned with in the court room and he embodied professionalism. I am truly sorry for the loss of such a bright light. My sympathy is extended to all of those who knew and loved him.

Our deepest sympathies Luis Manuel Ramírez and Delia Garced

I knew Ted Mortell professionally for many years. He was always a gentleman and a delight to work with. He was an excellent attorney and an extremely fast learner. I was always happy to hear from him and enjoyed our interactions very much. My heartfelt condolences to Ted's family and all of his friends, partners, and co-workers. There are no appropriate words.

Ted was one of the first ones to make me feel welcome when I joined Peterson & Bernard in 1992. During the time we worked together he was both mentor and friend. His positive outlook was infectious, and I have great memories of our times as young associates at P&B One time, on a whim, he invited me along for a bachelor party where I knew none of the attendees but Ted. During that trip, when I got into a bit of (harmless) trouble, it was Ted who took charge and straightened the whole matter...

I was so honored to be apart of the Mortell family for a decade with golf, Ted was one of the best people I have ever meet, he will be greatly missed. Prayers, much love to the boys Grant, Reid, Clark, Missy and family!

Missie Grant Reid Clark we do not imagine to have any words that will ease your pain. Please know that our family will have you all in constant prayer as the days ahead continue.
We will never forget Ted's strength of character his wonderful smile his devotion to service and above all else his love of you!
With deepest sympathies,

Thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Mortel family at this time of loss
