I knew Ed through his collecting hobby and spent a few weekends with him over the years. He was an incredibly knowledgeable man and I always enjoyed his stories. I only found out about his passing recently and wanted to express my condolences to the family. He was a great guy.

Jimmy your dad enjoyed farming very much, when he had to retire I know it began to hurt him as he missed it doing it all the farm chores, burning wood for the winter and looking back on what he made of it his property, buying all that land & preserving it for conservation purposes.
He believed in open space for a future in a farming learning center.
