I was also a student of Mrs. Cochran's at Laboure' High School. In all my years of schooling, your wife was my favorite teacher. She made learning fun, and made us feel like we could talk to her about anything. However, we always respected her authority and for being the intelligent, kind person she was. Jerry, I just learned of Eileen's death today. I have so many memories of her from grade school - and so many from high school and later, include you. No one could make me laugh like Eileen (we got in plenty of trouble over that). I missed my chance for one more conversation last year when she sent me a message on Facebook that she had a "small world" story for me. I didn't call to find out what that was and I'll never know now. This is a lesson for me to stay in touch with the good...
