My favorite memory of Elaine is her as my babysitter (I am now 74). She was my only babysitter because she was the only one I would have. I remember she used to read to me and spend time with me playing with my dolls. There were plenty of them and all were called Elaine. I believe she should have been classified as my best friend. Her wonderful sense of dry humor was always there with us and I did a lot of giggling. I, also, have a picture of us taken on the back steps of my house, which was right next door to her house on Cadieux. The picture is Elaine in her navy Wave uniform. I am standing on one of the higher steps so we are even in height and I had on a similar outfit that had that navy look. I don't know if it was purchased for Elaine's benefit or the fact that my brother, Vin, was also in the navy but the picture brings back many memories.
My condolences to all the family and know that she and all of you are in my prayers during this difficult time.

Mom,
I miss you and your wonderful witt. You were loved and now are in the best Hands ever! God loves you and so do I. Please say hi to dad and everyone?
