Eldon Studebaker was a wise and gentle person. His love and respect for all of life was most revealed in his caring and patient approach to his nursery work. As a high school worker on the nursery I remember very distinctly his relationship with us was very similar. As with his plants, he took the time to get to know us. I remember one day he pulled me from the work crew to go off and work with him in another part of the nursery where, as we worked hoeing weeds, he shared his life story...

Mr. Studebaker was such an asset to the agricultural and church community. There aren't many like him. Our sympathies are with the family.
