Eleanor Durham Davenport is my first cousin. Like her parents, she was unselfish and focused primarily on the needs of her family. Outside of family, Eleanor generously responded to help other individuals and support organizations and institutions. Eleanor provided thoughtful council to me and many others, always displaying genuine interest, insight and love. Gosh I loved her!! She was my patient and friend! So sweet! I cherished our visits and watching her eat the muffins I would bring and our long conversations!!!! She was so supportive! I will miss her dearly! Prayers to all her wonderful family!

Dearest Martin, Jennifer and extended family, Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother who was so loved by so many. She was indeed a beautiful woman in many ways. Her caring nature provided the community with a lasting role model. Love and prayers to you all. Stephanie White and family.

I would like to offer my deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to the entire family. The best memory I have of Mrs. Davenport is the way she would call for Martin when he was a teen.

My deepest condolences to the Family. I had the honor of working Mrs. Davenport when she volunteered at Retreat Hospital. She was a very Special Lady. God Bless and give you strength during this most difficult time.
