Our memories of Aunty Ellie were always of a happy, smiling, gracious and welcoming aunt. She always made us feel comfortable. Her birthday party on Leahy Ave. was wonderful. We saw her at the concerts at the gazebo in South Hadley where she talked about her latest travel adventures. Her children and grandchildren filled her life with many memories and happiness. Aunty Ellie made an effort to visit Aunty Bernie, Uncle Roger, her brother Ernest and wife Claire. We appreciated her uplifting...

Dear Skip and all the Klepacki family, Ellie was a model for citizenship, decency, and class. She contributed much to South Hadley and advocated so well for historical preservation. Ellie was just a fine person from a fine family. Knowing some of Ellie's children, it is clear that she set a splendid example for them to follow. What more can a parent do? Ellie will be remembered for a long time, and my thoughts are with you.
