Sr Eleanor and my Mother, Jean Barbara Grusenmeyer, were cousins. As I kid visiting Grandma & Grandpa Clouse, Sr Eleanor would happen by for a visit as well. She was not like the nuns I had in school. Sr Eleanor was always telling stories and if you were in the room with her you were laughing. She always had a smile on her face. Always.

Sr. Eleanor you touched the lives of so many. Eleanor and my mother (Jean "Barbie" Clouse-Grusenmeyer) are cousins. My mother passed away earlier this year so our family was invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Mary of the Springs just last Sunday. My dad (Paul), my sister and I took the opportunity to visit with Sr. Eleanor while we were there. She was surprised to see us, she looked great and of course she talked our ear off. What a shock to hear of her passing just three days later. Thank you...

Sr. Eleanor has always had a special place in our lives. Sr. Eleanor's Aunt, Mary Cooney-Schroeck was my grandmother. It is not often, as a child one gets to sleep in a convent. When I was 8 years old, we were invited with my parents to stay. She will always be an one of the best examples in my life of one of Faith Hope and Love. I am sure that each of us who were touched by her, will be confident to know that we have a wonderous angel in heaven, now, continuing to do His work here on...
