Thinking about Aunt Elgie today with love and remembering how I always loved talking with her and all the fun Christmases we celebrated together.

Elgie, the ER wasn't an ideal place to have met your mom but I'm glad i did. I love reading about who she was and what she meant to everyone. The love she gave you was obvious to me in how you lovingly cared for her at the end of her life. I'm glad she is finally at peace.

Wendy, Elgie and Skip, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Aunt Elgie was a truly remarkable woman who had many successes in life. Most importantly, she recognized the value of family and raised three extraordinary children whom our family has had the pleasure of knowing and spending time. Aunt Elgie was the most wonderful sister to my father, friend to my mother and loving aunt to my sisters and me. We will keep the memories and her love and beautiful smile in our hearts forever.
