As a volunteer at the Canton VA Clinic with Eli for the last four years it is hard to say good by to such a good man as Eli. He was one of the most giving and honorable men it has been my honor to have served with. The veterans that come to the VA Clinic and his fellow volunteers have lost a truly SPECIAL person.

Eli was an e-mail friend of mine; we have never met. He knew my folks, Don and Alberta Smyth, who lived in Hartville near Schumacher Lumber where he worked. Sorry I did not get to meet him before he left for Heaven. Please email me, Deb. With love, Sara
