Not sure what to say?

Lynn, Susie and Matt, Jerry and I send you our deepest sympathy. I am so glad to have had a fine visit with Lis just a few years ago while in Phoenix. I learned more about her life and interests in those two hours than I had known in the 40+ years we had been extended family! What a gal! May you find comfort in one another and the memories you share.

My most heartfelt condolences to the entire Steckner family. You are in my thoughts. Please let me know if I can help in any way.
Warmly, Starin

Lis and I met in tenth grade at Henry Grady High School in Atlanta GA and were roommates our freshman year at the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. It was an intense and hilarious year, thanks to Elisabeth. Her bureau drawers were always neat as a pin; mine, always a clutter. We had a fun year, thanks to her laughter and pranks!
