Betsy and I have been Face Book friends for years. We were neighbors in Winchester. My husband Rev. David Purdy and her husband Jack were friends. When I saw no reaction to the Bishop Budde Presidential Prayer Breakfast remarks, I was afraid that something serious had happened to Betsy. Sure enough I googled Obituaries Elizabeth Bishop and there I found the sad news! We were such good FB friends and I will miss her so! RIP dear Betsy!
