Betty was like a second mother to me growing up. She was always so kind and thoughtful. When my mom passed she came to see me. She said she had to come in person because she couldn´t put all that my mother and family meant to her in a card, I will always treasure that visit. How amazing that she lived to see her 101st birthday! I will always remember the good times we had in the neighborhood and how lucky we all were to have known Betty.
