Where do we begin to tell what a dear, wonderful friend and giving person Betty was to our mother, Gertrude Quimby and to our family?
Their great friendship began as coworkers at St Lukes Hospital in the mid 1960's and lasted until our mother's death in 1976.
Betty's wonderful sense of humor and fun, her keen intelligence and strong Catholic faith were so much admired by our dear mother.

Today we said goodbye to a grand lady. With the covid 19 virus it was a small gathering at Sacred Heart Cemetary in Bath. I'm sure under different times there would have been hundreds there to say goodbye to our dear Betty. She was not only my Confirmation God-mother but my cousin and like a big sister to me.
