Where do we begin to tell what a dear, wonderful friend and giving person Betty was to our mother, Gertrude Quimby and to our family?
Their great friendship began as coworkers at St Lukes Hospital in the mid 1960's and lasted until our mother's death in 1976.
Betty's wonderful sense of humor and fun, her keen intelligence and strong Catholic faith were so much admired by our dear mother.
It was Betty's limitlessly friendship and support that got our mother through her divorce, health problems and raising we four kids.
We fondly remember being warmly welcomed to family get togethers and fun picnics by Mrs Fields, Betty, her brothers and their wives and children in Bath.
Betty was a true friend to us all.

We extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends at this sad time.

Today we said goodbye to a grand lady. With the covid 19 virus it was a small gathering at Sacred Heart Cemetary in Bath. I'm sure under different times there would have been hundreds there to say goodbye to our dear Betty. She was not only my Confirmation God-mother but my cousin and like a big sister to me. She along with Paul A Kahler (PAK) and the Rev. Father Burkhart participated in my wedding 50 years ago this June to my wonderful husband Robert. She along with my dear Aunt Alice always brought presents to myself and my 2 brothers on Christmas morning. (P.S.) the presents were always from Hess's and I thought her and Aunt Alice were the riches people in Bath. She was a rich treasure to not only our family but to the town of Bath who she served for so many years as Mayor. Betty I know you are enjoying your time in heaven with your mom Alice and catching up with Uncle Ray who you did not get to spend much time with here on earth since he passed when you were a teen. I know you and big brother Billy are up to harmless mischief up in heaven like you did here on earth. Until we meet again love and miss you Betty. Joan (Maureka) Faustner

God Bless you Betty. I became part of the Fields family back in the 70's when your niece, Patricia Blenkin Deutsch and I were married living across the street in Bath. When Patty passed away in 1987 we lost touch but I still remember seeing you in Bath. May the Lord keep you in His Loving Care for all eternity. With fond memories. Donald Deutsch

Condolences to Betty's family from an old friend.
I worked for Betty when she had her gift shop in Bath. She had a great personality and always had a story to tell. I lost touch with her when I moved to Florida and then Utah. I did see her the last time she was at the church service at Musikfest, while I was there with my sister. She also officiated the marriage of my sister, Donna & Rudy at our home in Bath.
I'm sure she will be missed by many. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
