Very sorry for your loss. Mom Geraghty was a very special person. Even if she didn't know you well, she made you feel like she knew you all her life and took all children under her wings. She well be sadly missed.

Your mother was a wonderful and gentle woman and I never saw her get angry or lose her temper when she worked at the Child Care Center at the Seneca Army Depot or when my children were in your care at your home on the Lake Road. I was born on Betty's 46th birthday and had known her since I was 19 days old.
When I was about 7, I ran away from home....ran all the way next door to "Ma Geraghty's" house. So there I was, suit case in hand, so FULL that I barely got it closed because of all of the STUFFED ANIMALS (but no clothes) that I had stuffed in to it.
