Barb, Lyle,I and my family would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Your mother was a wonderful and gentle woman and I never saw her get angry or lose her temper when she worked at the Child Care Center at the Seneca Army Depot or when my children were in your care at your home on the Lake Road. God has a special place for her in heaven for she has earned her wings. God Bless and take care.

I was born on Betty's 46th birthday and had known her since I was 19 days old.
When I was about 7, I ran away from home....ran all the way next door to "Ma Geraghty's" house. So there I was, suit case in hand, so FULL that I barely got it closed because of all of the STUFFED ANIMALS (but no clothes) that I had stuffed in to it. "Ma" brings me into the house and puts me on one of the kitchen chairs. She lets me talk the frustration out and gives me a big glass of milk along with home made chocolate chip cookies. She made the BEST chocolate chip cookies EVER! About an hour later she helped me go a whole 30 feet home. I'm going to miss you very much Ma. Love you!! Kathe
