Mrs. Lacy was a teacher extraordinare, a pioneer and an educational advocate whose legacy leaves an infinitesimal impact in many lives and our society.
It was a pleasure to have had her as a supplemental instructor during my stay at Wilson Elementary School.

I have very fond memories of Mrs. Lacy's doll collection which she willingly displayed for many years during Black History Month at the Ewing Branch Library. I looked forward each year to see what special items she would display for our patrons! Dear Wanda, Teddy and Susan,
Mrs Lacy was a wonderful woman. A few words that come to mind are Class Act. She was not only beautiful outside but inside because of her actions and commitments to the greater good as shown by the outpouring of love from those she touched. She truly left behind an amazing legacy for her children and grandchildren. Her passing bought back many memories ... Wednesday night dinners at Lucy's.
