Elizabeth Mulcahy Telthorst

Elizabeth had a zest for life and found a soul mate with Dean. We were so happy they had found each other and shared much joy and life in the time they had together. She is surely missed.

Elizabeth was one of those people who make you smile whenever you see them. I liked her immediately; she had a wonderful smile and was a lovely person. She made our friend, Dean, very happy. She is missed, but she is in Heaven with my Gil. Lots of great people up there!

I was recently searching for Elizabeth on Facebook and came across her obituary. I was so very sorry to hear of her passing. I came to know Elizabeth when she worked for me in Iowa City while she was in college, where she cared for adolescents with disabilities. She then came and worked for me again as the program director at Shady Oaks Camp for Cerebral Palsy, in Lockport, Illinois where she also convinced Jerry Lee to create a video about camp that for many years shared the story of Shady...

Shelly and I were so sad to hear about Elizabeth's passing. She was such a delight to work with at the American Youth Foundation. She had such a gentle spirit; we will never forget her. Our prayers are with you and your family as you grieve the loss you are in the process of dealing with.

I had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth while she was chair and a member of PFAC. She was a wonderful person with a gracious spirit. She will be greatly missed by her PFAC family.
