Not sure what to say?

Rest in love Ellen. I can't believe it's been 6 years.

Just reading about the passing of one of my most memorable

On behalf of my family (Dorothy, Marlene and Vivelyn) I wish to extend our sincere condolence to the Berlin family in the passing of Ellen.Ellen's sweet smile is just as I remember it when I baby sat her and Andy when they were mere tots. What very sweet, loving and well behaved children they were. It's been decades since I saw them last. I will hold my memories of Ellen close to heart. I pray that her soul rest in peace.

I am very sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. My deepest condolences to the entire Berlin family.

As the one year anniversary approaches, I find myself thinking about Ellen and the joy she had in life. We were friends many years ago in Boston and then reconnected the year before she died. How extraordinary that her grace, easy laugh, practical nature and appreciation of life's beauty that was evident in her life was so present while she was so sick. Her character and spirit were so beautiful. I am also thinking of her son, family and friends who gave her so much happiness. We were lucky...

Ellen and I worked together at Reach Out and Read. She was so funny and loved Jeffrey with all of her heart. She would always light up when she talked about him. He was her everything.

She was my rock when I was in the hospital, she sat at my bedside during this time. She made sure I got there and was treated. She cared that much. I'll always remember that about her. When she cared, you knew it.

Her kindness and thoughtfulness is what I'll remember the most about her....

Sorry for your loss,I knew Ellen from Dana Farber

I'm so sorry to hear about this. Ellen will truly be missed. Much love to her family

Ellen was such a great supportive smart colleague and friend during my years at ROR. When I first moved to the UK she volunteered to safeguard my little box of treasured possessions in the closet of her new home. Always generous, always funny, always aware of others. I will remember her with enormous gratitude ad pleasure. Ron Bailey
