Not sure what to say?

Hi Pam,
I have wonderful memories of your Mom and spending time at your house. She was so beautiful and sweet. I hope you are well. Love to you and Danny, Patty and Rocky

Rock, we are very sorry to hear about your mom. I am glad that you had her for so long. Dick & Sharon Conn

To my friend and former teammate, Rocky and all of the family members: Reading the life of her is a testament to her legacy and the saying that we should "celebrate her life", not mourn her passing. Her love of family, her commitment to a productive and healthy life, and living a Godly life are documented. May she now rest in peace and her legacy live on. I am just happy to have met her, along with Bob Adams, another Steeler teammate back in the early '70s. She has left her mark on us all.

Bob Adams

Ellen more than left her mark for her family and others to follow. I am veryl proud to have experienced a lovely fish dinner in Bleier's Bar and Restaurant the day before the Steelers played Green Bay in 71. And to have shared the experience with her son, Rocky, Warren Bankston and other Steeler players was a grand affair. Meeting Rocky's parents, Ellen and Bob, was the highlight of our trip to Appleton. Her spirit will live on and on.

Rocky & Family, My heart goes out to you with the passing of a great woman. HER MEMORY WILL TRULY BE ETERNAL.
PITTSBURGH STEELER ALUMNUS

Our condolences to a great lady.

Rocky, Patty, Dan and Pam, So sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother. We admired your mother so much. She was a very remarkable person. We are thankful to have been able to be part of Bleier's Ron and Carol TrimB

Rocky, Pat, Dan, and Pam, our deepest sympathies in losing your Mom, a great lady. While your charasmatic dad was the front man at Bleier's, your mom ran the show with great success. Bleier's served the best Friday fish fries in the valley and had the best Tom & Jerry recipe. Our Dad, Clay, worked there part-time besides his full time job during the Packers' golden years in the 60's. (We lost Mom in 05/2003 and Dad, 12/2013.) On behalf of my brothers, Clay, Rod, Bob and myself, God bless and...

Rock, Pat, Dan and Pam,
Thinking of you all in this sad time. I have wonderful memories of your mom, in particular her smiley demeanor and joyful laugh. Growing up she was like my second mom. Wish I could be there with you to express my heartfelt condolences. God bless your Mom and all of you. Love, Paul
