Elliot was a truly fabulous man and a terrific artist. I miss his insightful humor and kindness shown to myself as well as to his fellow artists/students in my 'painters studio' at the 92StreetY. My sincere condolences are sent to his loved wife, family and world of friends.

My late husband, John, and I were fortunate to have designed books under Elliot's direction at McGraw-Hill in the late '60s and early '70s. He was an excellent art director.
