Not sure what to say?

My brother and I just recently thought of our old Karate classes with Elliott and then sadly learned of Elliott's passing. We both benefited from Elliott's wisdom, kindness and encouragement throughout the years that we took karate classes with Elliot in the Pine Hill gymnasium. He left a lasting impression, more so than most teachers I've ever had. And as a female I'm grateful for the awareness of body, strong abs, and defense skills that Elliott helped me to cultivate. Elliott and Norman Armstrong

Rick and I will never forget our trip to Gettysburg with Elliot -a great travel companion. He laid his hands near my back and took my back pain away. We will miss him. Our thoughts are with you.

We had the pleasure of knowing Elliot as members of the 22nd MVI. We will always remember Elliot as the unique, creative individual he was. He brought his sense of humor to the nightly camp fires and entertained us all with his stories. His strength of character, as one of our Sergeants, guided us on the battlefield at many a reenacting event. He will be missed, but not ever forgotten. To all his family and friends, you have our deepest sympathy at your great loss.

What Elliott taught me will stay with me forever. Elliott was a part of the dearest pieces of my childhood and teenage years, he was the kindest and most passionate man I've ever met. I will miss him with all of my heart and wish that I could be with him now to say so. To all of his other friends and family, you have my fullest support and I wish you all well.

Elliott was a truly unique person. I have many memories of him, and I have often benefited from what he taught me in martial arts, even though I was not his student for very long.

While I received a great deal from Elliott, I am most grateful to him for what he did for my son, whose entry speaks for itself. I will always appreciate the contribution that he and Linda made to Josh's life.

Elliott will be missed, but his spirit will live on in the lives of all those who...

Elliot will be sorely missed. He was blessed with the support of his beloved Aunt Olive. Our prayers are with you during this difficult time.

A friend and companion in our shared years with the 22nd; on the battlefield, on the company street, around the campfire: we'll miss you good friend. Corporal Peck.
