He was a very special person. He loved to sing the Great Speckled Bird for me. Ellis was so proud of his family and loved each one very much! I'm sure he is having a big reunion with loved ones that went on before him. May you find comfort in knowing he is in a better place.
I feel priviledged to have known Ellis and enjoyed him being at Golden Years.

Even tho I had only a short time to visit with Uncle Ellis while there in April, he still had the same smile. You could still see the love in his heart for his family and his Lord. He is so proud of all of you and his faith. He has gone to be with his family and I know that my mother (Katherine) will happy to see him. As a child I remember going fishing with him and my Dad. Uncle Ellis always had donuts for me.
Know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was very close to this person and yes he was a person. He was very special and his humor was great. I feel as this world was done a favor by having this human bieng on this earth. I will miss him dearly and he held on as long as he could and then some. I know that he will be truly missed. I love you always.
