He was born on Aug. 3, 1925, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, where he served in the army during 1943 and 1944.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Muriel M. Williams and two surviving children, Anthony Williams and Diane Williams, and six grandchildren.
He joined the Knights of Columbus in 1964 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and when he immigrated to the U.S., he remained an active and dedicated member serving the Father Philip Sheridan Assembly as Faithful Navigator and was a member of the Color Corps. He then served as Grand Knight for Westbrook, St. Mark's Council until he retired.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at the Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London.
Donations may be made on his behalf to the Visiting Nurse Association.
