Eloise DiGiallonardo Obituary
March 18, 1934 - May 8, 2018
Eloise Lorain DiGiallonardo, 84, passed away at her home on May 8, 2018. She was born March 18, 1934, to Mable and Theodore Colhour in Montrose, CO.
Eloise has been a resident of Grand Junction for many years. She was a Foster Grandmother at the Latimer House. She loved to sit and rock the babies. Her main love was being with her family.
She is survived by her son, Perri DiGiallonardo of Grand Junction; daughters, Lynda Simmons of Grand Junction, and Kathy (Jack) Calhoun of Fruita; brother, Robert (Donna) Colhour; sister, Carole (Jim) Flynn; grandchildren, Phillip, Garrett, Frankie (Danielle), Erik (Christina), Christopher (Erica), Angela, and Alecia, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, Robert DiGiallonardo and Nicholas DiGiallonardo, and grandchild, Michael DiGiallonardo.
A Memorial Service will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
Memorial contributions can be made to Latimer House, 1129 Colorado Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501.

Mama, I miss you so much! My heart just feels so broken still and it will be two years tomorrow since you went to our eternal home. I am so happy for you though mama because you have Jesus and all your boys there with you now and I look so forward to the day that we will all be together again just like you wanted it to be! My beautiful Mama, I miss you more then words can express. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I often wish I could call you again and hear you say to me " hello dear". There is no greater love then that of a mother for her children and you showed me that my whole life. I can only hope that I am half the mom to my children and grandchildren as you were to all of us. I love you Mama and know and believe with all my heart that we will all be together in Heaven and never have to say goodbye again.I know you are with Rob and Nick and you are all singing praises to our Lord Jesus and I can't hardly wait until I can join in.

Eloise you will be greatly missed. I thank God for the privelige of having known you. I praise God for my brother Jack meeting your beautiful daughter Kathy Making us family. You are a very strong delightful woman. Family gatherings wont be the same without you, Rob, and Ron. Withought your joyous smile and laughter.Praying for my dear sister Kathy and her brother Peri and sister Linda.My heart aches for you.
