Elsie Fortenberry Chittenden

CHITTENDEN Elsie Fortenberry Chittenden passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015. She was 78 years old. Daughter of the late Seggie and Nannie Fortenberry. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Chittenden. Sister of Carolyn Hatten of Hattiesburg, MS., and the late Alese Raybourn, Kenneth Fortenberry, and Cecil Fortenberry. Aunt of the late Judy Stockstill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM.
