Nancy and I, and our children, have been honored to have the opportunity to meet and visit with Mr. & Mrs. Merrill through our relationship with the Wallace family. We are very saddened to learn of his death from this life but we celebrate his rebirth into his new life, free of pain and illness. It was my honor to escort Mike on the Dow sponsered Honor Flight to see the World War II Monument and other memorials in Washington D.C. It was a very special day that I will never forget. Mike and His fellow Veterans were treated to a well deserved thank you by many people, young and old, for their service to our country and the freedoms we all enjoy. Thank you Mike. RIP
