Aaron, Angelique & Dreama,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of sorrow. I will always treasure my memories of singing with Elyse in our Choir, Women's Ensemble and Mixed Ensemble at Manhattan Baptist back in the 80's and early 90's.. We were always cracking up and enjoying our fellowship with each other. She gave me the most beautiful little outfit for our son, Matthew (born 5/29/88). My memories are from Robinson High School as we sang together in the concert choir in the contralto section. Elyse was so cute and so talented. I tried to sing like she did, never as well, but she was a great role model. She reminded me of a little energetic "Shirley Temple"..so sweet and so kind. Wonderful years of our youth.
Our paths crossed again many years later, and we shared about some trials of life...but the great part was that I found out Elyse was a believer in Jesus. ...

My thoughts and prayers are with Elyse's family. She will be missed at Tampa General, our office will not be the same without her. God Bless.

There are many wonderful memories of Elyse during our "Cinderella" years. She loved her family very much and was a friend to many. Dreama, you inherited your Mom's ability to "light up a room." May you always take that light with you in your heart.

Elyse was and is a beautiful witness for the Lord. Her life was an example to be followed and she touched everyone's life so deeply. We will miss her shining spirit but can have peace in her new life.
