Dear Sara,

Herb and I were saddened to learn of your Dad's recent passing. We hope the wonderful memories you have of him will bring you comfort during these painful and difficult days.

We send our sincere condolences to you and your family.

To The Shemin Family;

My condolences to you and yours during this difficult time. I was told of Manny’s passing today. It’s been many years since my childhood on Berkley Drive and having the honor of being introduced into the world of horticulture by a neighbor and ultimately one of my biggest mentors, I often tell the story of my humbling beginning as a young man unloading plants in Greenwich Ct while my friends were playing ball. I worked hard and absorb as much as I could from...

Dear Mrs Shemin And Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Manny,s passing. He gave me an opportunity to work at Shemin Nurseries over 20 years ago. He believed in me and my abilities in the the field of Ornamental Horticulture. I will be forever greatful for having known him. My thoughts are with you all in this time of sorrow.

Dear Roda and the Shemin Family, My deepest condolences to all of you. I am fortunate to have known Manny and had the chance to spend time with him at seed conferences over the years. He was always generous with his time and knowledge. He cared deeply about people and he worked tirelessly in the seed industry as a supporter of organic farming and to help formulate organic standards. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Rhoda
Sam and I just heard the very sad news and we send you our heartfelt condolences. Manny will always be fondly remembered by us walking the property, surveying his flowers. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Love,
Joan and Sam

Dear Rhoda,

Jane and I were saddened to hear of Manny’s passing. My first recollection of meeting Manny was decades ago when I visited his Bronx nursery with my father-in-law, Herb. It was obvious that Manny was a really hard worker and a fine person, with real caring for others. My last recollection of him was seeing and saying hello to you both at an FAU event in Boca. To me, Manny never changed. To his great credit he used his vast knowledge and business success in the...

Dear Rhoda and family,
Amy and my thoughts are with you all at this time of Manny's passing. While we could never spent enough time with you all, we will always remember the wonderfulness of this smart, kind and generous man. He will indeed be missed for ages.
Love, Joel and Amy Shumrak

Dear Shemin family, my consolation in your grief. Manny and myself worked together during the last 12 years to build and reconstruct the integrated marketing program at the Hebrew University. Manny's goal was to give marketing education to horticultural students. Manny's involvement, advise and willingness to help in building this successful program. We started with five students and nowadays we have around 70 students. Most of the students remember both the program and the annual...
