Not sure what to say?

I remember long ago a wonderful boat ride...Such a brilliant man who touched many lives. I know your journey continues...Kathy Sewell Sells

Our dear friend Emek will be remembered forever for all of his good works, his devotion to his family, his good humor and the legacy of his writings. He made this world a better place for future generations. With love, Phil and Nancy Margolis

My husband Jim and I always enjoyed our visits with Emek. The discussion was always spirited and deep, I always came away with a feeling of having learned something important, and I enjoyed the intellectual exchange so much. You are indeed missed by all who knew you.

candles were lit for you on your yahrzeit and during yiskor.

your light will burn bright as long as I am alive...

Dear Daddy,
Just visited your grave and lay down upon it and wept. I still cannot believe you are gone. With you went so much of me.....with love and tears, Elaine

Brilliant, kind, brutally honest and a major contributor to his community and our society. In many ways a strong mentor and too a much softer mensch. A cherished friend who is
missed.

Emek was one of my favorite colleagues, from our first meeting when I moved to Michigan to our last dinner together more than 30 years later. Always stimulated my thinking and my teaching.

Thank you, Roger, from your mouth to god's ears...I hope and pray my father is, as you say, "bound in eternal life"

May your soul be bound up in eternal life
