BLOODWORTH Emelda Antoinette Pepitone Bloodworth passed away at home and now rests with the Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Sol Gerard Bloodworth by second marriage and Calvin Joseph Pepitone by first marriage. Loving mother of Calvin Peter Pepitone and the late James Joseph Pepitone. Mother-in-law of Joyce Peters Pepitone. Grandmother of Mrs. Anita Alcina, Carrie Schefferstein, Cindy Qualls and the late Dennis Pepitone. Great grandmother of Scott Schefferstein, Alyssa Cardona, Emile Cardona, Ethan Cardona, Kaitlin Alcina, Morgan Leach and the late Stacey Cardona. Great great grandmother of Ashley and Gabriella. Sister of Joseph, Earl and Charles Thigpen and the late Marie DiGiovanni and Anthony Thigpen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service in Metairie Cemetery, (Section 41), 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Friday, March 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Deacon Ed Coudrain - officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital, 200 Henry Clay, New Orleans, LA 70118 or to the charity of your choice.
