We were saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Higbie. Our thoughts go out to all of Mrs. Higbie's family and friends at this difficult time.

I lived near the Higbies and spent time with them and drove them to Oak Hill for lunches and dinners and sat and always had a delightful conversation. I admired Emilee for many reasons, she was talented beyond words, but she saw art in everything, her perspective of nature and beauty was always present, she saw what most people did not.
