Not sure what to say?

Your family has been in my thoughts and prayers throughout this past month. I have such warm memories of the times when dear Emily would come over to play at our house during her and our Kris's childhood years. Emily became a gifted and very compassionate woman, touching many lives as I've read here. She lives on in the hearts of many. May you be embraced daily by God's comfort and love.

Dear Coach Shenk,

I have been thinking of you and you are in my sincerest thoughts and prayers. God bless you and your family in days ahead. May you find strength and encouragement in the love of those around you. Meagan White

I remember Emily as one of nicest little girls that Erin played with when they were in nursery school, kindergarten and Brownies together. I know they shared some good times in elementary school as well. My sympathy to all of the Shenk family for your loss. May your good memories of Emily and the sure knowledge that she is truly at peace beyond all pain and struggling give you some comfort during this sad time and in the difficult days ahead.

My sincere prayers and sympathies to the Shenk Family. I suffered from Anorexia Nervosa in the 70s and understand a bit about what she went through. God bless you all.

I was so sorry to hear of Emily's passing. I too, was a childhood friend, and remember her as a kind and caring person. My thoughts and prayers are with your family in this time of sorrow. May you find peace and comfort in your memories of Emily while she rests with the Lord.

Coach,
I have been thinking of you and your family, and praying for you every day. My heart goes out to you. I dedicated the last mile of a beautiful 5 mile run to Emily on Sunday night. May you find peace and comfort in your heart today and always.

Dear Shenk Family,

My sincere condolences to all of you. I hope that you will you find comfort in your many good memories of Emily. I'm sure you will miss her forever.

I worked with Emily at Weis Market for a short time before she became ill. You can be proud of what a caring and kind individual she was. Even as she struggled in the end, she was always thinking of others. So sad that this has happened to such a kind and caring person.

I first met Emily in preschool and we took dance lessons together. She is connected to virtually every memory I have of elementary school. Emily was the sweetest girl and she was very caring. My deepest condolences to the Shenk family.
