I can´t believe it has been a year since your passing. Sometimes I drive down the streets of Sherman and you suddenly come into my remembrance. It mostly happens when I see a red cardinals flying around. And of course we have your picture and I´ll glance at it and all I can say is "O Emma", and my heart will sink in. My Jess misses you so much and it´s hard to watch her handle life without you. You would be happy to know that she holds you dear to her heart as we all do. I think about...

She was there for every important moment in my life for the last 10 years. I still do not know how to fill this void that losing her has created in my heart. I miss her every day <3
