Locked forever in my memory is the vision of my little dark-eyed cousin, Emmy Lou, the apple of her Daddy's eye. Along with her little brother, Jimmy, and my younger brother and sisters we'd have so much fun on our visits from Toronto. Emmy Lou always said she wanted to be a nurse like her Aunt Georgie, my mother (her father's sister). And that she did, like no one else.
