Emmy, what a pal you were, perhaps saving my mother from a difficult surgery performed by an incompetent surgeon. And, what you gave the sixth grade boys at Oak street was nothing short of amazement. Hope to see you in the hereafter.
Love,
Eddie

Locked forever in my memory is the vision of my little dark-eyed cousin, Emmy Lou, the apple of her Daddy's eye. Along with her little brother, Jimmy, and my younger brother and sisters we'd have so much fun on our visits from Toronto. Emmy Lou always said she wanted to be a nurse like her Aunt Georgie, my mother (her father's sister). And that she did, like no one else. A consummate professional, her patients were the most important part of her job. I love you cousin and will always miss you. And promise to look out for your little brother, Jimmy. God Bless You. Love, Diane
