Not sure what to say?

I'm very sorry to hear about Enid's death. She was a lovely person, memorable for her good nature and warmth, intelligence and broad interests. When we were kids in Milton, she was always very welcoming at her house, and in later years she was a very faithful and supportive friend to my mother. All the Mahoneys will remember her often and fondly.

Enid was a wonderful, warm person. She and my mom were famous for their hats. She made time to visit with our family when we were in need...and, she raised some great kids! She made a difference in this world.

Mrs. Chapman was a wonderful neighbor and a very kind woman. I remember her reading to me as a child at the Pierce School. She will be remembered fondly. I am very sorry for your loss.

As a friend of Richard Chapman I have heard so much about what a wonderful person and mother Enid was. I am deeply sorry for the loss of such a beautiful person, my thoughts and prayers are with you Richard your whole family.
Your friend,

Hi all Chapman kids, I just heard about Enid today from my cousin Ann. I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember when we were kids and the time spent at your house (great chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate after sledding at the Swift's hill before we had to trek down to our house) and she was a very great friend to my mother. I was fortunate to have spent time with her and Nona as an adult. Smart woman. I would love to be able to be at the service for her but being on MV makes it hard....

As a coworker of Enid's for a number of years at the Gerontology Manning Certificate Program, I want to send my sincere sympathies on your loss. Enid was a lovely person, we will miss her. Renee summers

Dearest Billy, Ricky, Katie, Annie, Ned, Andrew, and John,
Your mom was always the most gentle and caring mom and always welcomed me in for dinner or just refuge from my own busy family. She always had the most wonderful smile and genuinely caring nature. After a long winter sledding on our hill, we would cross the street to your house and she always seemed to have hot cocoa ready to thaw us out. My childhood would not have been so very special if it hadn't been for your mom and your...

Dear Ricky,Katie,Billy,Annie,Ned, Andrew and John; Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and prayers. I just now heard the news and want you to know how much I admired your beautiful mother and what an influence she had on me -- with her gentle strength, her great style and exquisite taste -- during all the years I spent babysitting you younger four! I am not sure where the time has gone but I am sure that Enid Chapman was one of the loveliest, most gracious women I have ever met. Condolences...
