Eric J. Hopkins

I dont know what made me think about Eric, i went to grade school with him for years in Bourbonnais in the 1980s. I have moved from that town but over thanksgiving i was driving through briarcliff (the subdivision that we lived in), and saw his old house and thought about the sleepovers we had there. He always had a great smile, was so positive, and was a great friend. We lost touch after grade school, but i wont ever forget him.

Eric would have loved the recent restoration that alumni funded to the Delta Tau Delta, Beta Nu chapter at MIT! Eric was a great Delt at MIT and I miss him. I was pleased to make a significant contribution in Eric's name. It made me very happy to ensure that Eric J. Hopkins' name is remembered and reflected on the large bronze plaque commemorating the house and the restoration! I sure miss you brother!
