Perhaps it's no mistake Erik left on 9/11; must be some lonely folks were missing the babies they had to leave behind after the terrorist attacks and God knew your son was just the boy for the job, and that you were strong enough to go on... There are no words to express how deeply sad I am to hear of the loss of your precious son Erik. I want you to know as one of his baseball coaches for many years it was always a pleasure to have Erik on our team. He always had a smile on his face, a willingness to be great and his candid joyful advice always brought a smile to my face.
