Not sure what to say?

Erika was the youngest daughter of my very best friend Cecilia Meng who loved her children so much. She was so proud to become a grandmother and she always talked about all of her children. Cecilia went also through cancer and fought and that is the trait her daughter had after her mom. I remember her talking about when Erika was diagnosed with cancer they went shopping for wigs together. Erika was very energetic, she loved sports and her mom very much. I know she will be always...

Dear Brita and Henrik,

I am so sad to read the news about Erika. I know she was just as remarkable person as both of your parents were. She was smart like both your mom and dad and she was passionate about travels and people like your mom. I know that you and Henrik have suffered so much loss in the past 4-5 years and I pray that God will give you strength through this sad time. I have a picture of Kaia on my desk and I see her smiling face everyday and think of Cecilia. Just...

A wonderful tribute to an exceptional woman. We will miss her.

Brita,

I hadn't seen Erika since we were in high school sorority together. We had so much fun. Tears are running dowm my face as I write this. The world will truly be a sadder place without Erika.

Dear Brita,

How sad I am to learn of Erika's death. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'd be delighted to do anything for you while you are in town.

Love, Susan

Dearest family of Erika,
I was so saddened to hear of Erika's passing...what a radiant young woman. I was a classmate of Erika's at Harpeth Hall and remember so fondly her brilliance, appraochability, beautiful smile, and infectious laugh. I sincerely do not recall a harsh word or negative demeanor, and counted her as a dear friend. I can still hear her voice, how she spoke of what Henrik or Brita might be doing...the way she said "UPenn."

After we graduated, I moved from...

Oh Erika! Even though I haven't seen you since high school, I am sad sad sad to hear how sick you've been and that you're now in a different world. Thinking of you and your family. Love, Virginia Calton Ballard
