Not sure what to say?

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Dr McClain, but I just bought her book, _Ricky Discovers the Sonoran Desert_ at Summit Hut yesterday. Her love for nature and her sweet spirit shine through in her words. I hope it is a comfort to her family that she will continue to bless children through this book for many years to come.

To the family of Erin Mary McClain,

We are sorry to hear of your loss; our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief.

The Brethren of
Boylston Lodge

Our thoughts & prayers are with you during this time of grief. God Bless all of you. Love and light.

I didn't know Erin very well, but we served in 2 boards together in undergrad. She was always kind and warm and I have no doubt that she had become a truly wonderful physician. I was truly saddened to hear the news of her passing. My prayers and thoughts go to her family and all the patients whose lives she touched.

Erin was an amazing person with an even greater heart. I went to medical school with her and have great memories of her. She was a very caring and beautiful person. She will be missed on earth, but is now our angel. My heart truly goes out to her family and I hope you heal a little each day. God bless.

Jim, Mary, Rick & Brandy,

I am so sorry to hear of Erin's passing. Please know that our thoughts & prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I have such special memories of Erin and our Star Scholarship fund. I remember being in awe of her intelligence and drive to succeed in school. However, it was Erin's warm, caring personality and poise that endeared her to me. She achieved so much, and I was blessed to know her.

The world has lost a bright light. Erin always made those around her feel special. She had such a love of medicine and learning. She will be missed by so many and it is the children who will suffer the most. I will always remember how kind she was to me when I started in the NCIU. I will always remember her compassion with the babies. I don't understand Gods choices but I know she is safe in his arms.

Erin was an amazing Dr, woman and friend. She cared for my daughter as if she was her own. She became part of our family, celebrating joyous occasions and the saddest. I could write pages about her sweet nature, nurturing ways and generous heart...but the best I can do to sum it all up is to call her my friend. My dear friend. I will miss you so much...but I will see you again one day...
