Not sure what to say?

Just wanted to say hi, Mr Douglas! Hope you're having a great time in paradise! Your son is following in your footsteps and living his dream by sharing his love of music with the world. You'd be really proud of him!

Ernest was the music which the soul calls "love". Ernest radiated in his affection for others and his affection for music. Ernie was, and will always be a continuing light! His smile was the candle which lit my day.

Ernie made everyone he met feel special. We shared the same birthday and he invited my fiance and I aboard the Nina to hear him play....he rocked the boat!!! All my prayers to his family.

I enjoyed our discussions and how you would always impart your brand of wisdom with humor. You won't be forgotten, Ernie! Thank you for your part in producing such a fine son, who is making his own mark on the world with his music. To the entire Douglas family, you have my sincerest heartfelt condolences. I love you guys!

Many fond memories of You playing the piano at my parents home on 62nd street in Topeka (Duke & Priebe Peyton). "Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog" on our piano was a classic for me! Every time I hear that song, I think of you pounding those keys and singing. Thank you, Ernie, for the great memories, as well as your kind friendship to my parents. Rest in Peace, Ernie.

Ernie...Topeka's gift to America. I talked to him a few years ago about sharing his talent in California's Bohemian Grove. We couldn't make it happen. I think of him often and miss the fun on the west entrance in our junior year. Wait for me Ernie.

I am very sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Douglas. He was a very kind person and a superb musician. My condolences to the family and may God watch over you at this time.
