Nancy Weber (formerly of Birchwood)

I was sad to hear of your loss. My condolences to you and your family.

Ernie let me use his office to hang my hat when I was first starting out in 1978. A truly nice man who was a legend in the meal pit. My condolences to his entire family.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Ernie showed a bunch of young guys how to work hard in the meal pit at the CBOT. He was a good man

My condolences to this loving family. May the Karmin Family look to the father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for comfort.

I only know Ernie through the love of his son, and his stories about him. But through these stories and that love I could tell Ernie was a great father a fun man and loving and beloved head of his family. My condolences go out to his family and friends for this terrible loss. I know however his love will linger in your hearts forever.

Ernie was a mensch. We admired him for his integrity, generosity in so many ways, and his direct opinions.
Our condolences to Harriet and his wonderful family. We will miss him. Doralu and Frank
